WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME?

Metal smithing requires heat to anneal, and to solder metal together. The name Blue Flame comes from the intense part of the flame which is the inner blue cone. The tip of which is the hottest part of the flame. This is the symbol of BLUE FLAME's inner fire in creating beautiful timeless pieces.

HOW MUCH DOES BLUE FLAME JEWELRY COST?

Price depends on the design, metal, size and type of gemstone used if any. 

 

WHAT GEMSTONES DO YOU USE?

I use different gemstones in my jewelry. I believe that each one has its unique power and beauty. Currently I work with amethyst, aventurine, carnelian, citrine, chalcedony, garnet, labradorite, lapis lazuli, malachite, moonstone, onyx, opal, peridot, prehnite, rose quartz, tiger eye, and turquoise. 

 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN READY TO WEAR, MADE TO ORDER AND CUSTOM ORDER PIECES?

Ready To Wear: Items for sale that are already made and just needs processing time before it is sent out for delivery.

Made To Order: Items are  for pre-order. Design is already provided, you just have to indicate your size. It usually takes 3-4 weeks for production. 

Custom Order: These are bespoke pieces specifically made for the client. As much as I want to accommodate all bespoke requests, slots are limited. I usually open Custom Orders after a collection has been released. If you have a design in mind for a ring, earrings, cuff, necklace just send me an email and let's discuss. Custom design quotations are valid for 10 days and are subject to change based on metal market. At the moment I do not accept gems or metals from clients. I only work with my own materials and gemstones.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A MADE TO ORDER PIECE? A CUSTOM ORDER?

Made To Order: Leadtime for fabrication usually takes 3-4 weeks. This may change depending on the number of orders that come in.

Custom Orders: Leadtime for fabrication usually takes 3-4 weeks. Though there might be instances that it may take longer, depending on the design or if materials are unavailable upon placement of order. As we discuss your order, leadtime will be determined.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT RUSH ORDERS?

If you need your order on a specific date, please email me prior to placing your order if possible. Some rush orders may require an additional fee.

 

HOW DO I CHECK MY RING SIZE? MY CUFF SIZE?

The  easiest and most accurate way to check your ring size is to visit any local jewelry store and have your ring size taken. You can also send me an inexpensive ring that fits well and I will match the size. I'll return your ring together with your order. You can also check you ring size through this link.

For your cuff size, just take the exact measurement of your wrist- just around your wrist bone. Check your measurement with the chart below:

Small: wrist measures 5 - 6 inches

Med: wrist measures 6 - 7 inches

Large: wrist measures 7 - 8 inches

X Large: wrist measures 8 - 9 inches

*Note: Cuffs have a 1 inch opening for ease of wearing on and off. You can adjust the tightness of your cuffs by squeezing ends towards each other.

 

WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR JEWELRY? DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL STORE?

Because of the pandemic, all available pieces are listed on my website. 

Hopefully soon we can be available in stores, join bazaars and pop-ups. For updates on upcoming events, check  my website, IG and FB pages.

 

CAN I ORDER PIECES FROM YOUR PAST COLLECTIONS?

Some collections are one-of-a-kind, some I can recreate. Send me an email and let's discuss.

RESERVATIONS

Unpaid orders will be reserved for 2 working days only. If no proof of payment is received via email 2 days after the order has been placed through the website, the order will be cancelled automatically.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING OPTIONS?

Shipment will be shouldered by client. 

STANDARD DELIVERY

P 100 plus insurance (NCR orders 3-5 days)

P 170 plus insurance (Provincial orders 5-7 days)

Excluding holidays and natural circumstances beyond one's control. 

EXPEDITED

We offer same day delivery within Metro Manila thru Lalamove or Grab Express. Delivery fee will be shouldered by client. If you choose this service, Kindly email us before paying so we can include shipment based on delivery address.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ITEMS TO SHIP OUT?

For READY TO WEAR items, I will need 3-5 days to process your purchased item. After purchase, it goes back to my bench for final polishing and packing before sending out for delivery. Due to our current quarantine situation, expect delays in delivery. 

 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

As of the moment, I only do local shipment.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?

All sales are final. Blue Flame is a very small business and as of the moment I don't have the capacity to handle returns or exchanges. Kindly read the item description before purchasing. if you have any question on the specifications, on sizing don't hesitate to send an email.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT REPAIRS?

If, for some reason, a piece purchased from me needs repair, I will do my best to fix it. Some repairs I cannot accommodate, such as sizing down rings or if it has gemstones. Repairs are very tricky and there are instances that damages may occur in the process. 

 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY BLUE FLAME JEWELRY?

After polishing each jewelry I apply a thin sealant to help prevent tarnishing. But care should be taken to prevent further damage and delay tarnishing. 

To maintain the quality of your jewelry, avoid wearing during bathing, swimming, exercising or any other activity that may damage the metal or stones. When not worn, store individually in ziplock bags to prevent oxidation. I have included a small black tarnish strip with your jewelry, this will help delay tarnishing.

All metals will eventually tarnish naturally due to moisture, sweat and humidity. Some people like the natural patina, but if you want it back to its original shiny polished state you can always clean your jewelry. To clean, wash with warm soapy water then dry completely with a soft cloth. You can also use a jewelry polishing cloth. There are other natural ways of cleaning your brass, copper and sterling silver pieces. You can mix baking soda and lemon and rub gently on your piece. Avoid  cleaning chemicals as they will damage your stones and weaken the metal.
